This blog has been created with the aim of creating my own teacher’s blog with software seen in this unit 6. The blog contains some task completely new and created exclusively for this subject.

So, in this blog we will see 5 entries with material created by means of the software we have seen throughout the units of this subject (until unit 6). The entries that I include here have been created to cover different skills as speaking, listening, reading and/or writing.

Use of English. Question words

This activity is going to be used to improve the use of english skills of the students on sixth grade of primary school. The aim of this activity is to improve and practice the question words.
They could download a worksheet with a review of the use of question words and some exercises to complete.

Creating your own short story

This activity is going to be used to improve writing, use of english, reading and speaking skills of the students on sixth grade of primary school. The aim of this activity is to improve the writing skills and accordingly, the vocabulary and orthography of our pupils.
For that they are going to see the presentation above, where they could see the main points to perform a great short story. Then, they will carry out their own short story following the guide given.

To end this activity, they must present their stories to the whole class and answer the questions of their partners.

Use of English. Crossword

This activity is going to be used to practice vocabulary and orthography skills of the students on second grade of primary school. The aim of this activity is to improve their English vocabulary regarding fruits name. For that, they are going to read the clues above and then they must complete the crossword exercise made with Discovery Education tool.

It will be highly recommended not spend more than 4 minute doing this activity.

This activity is going to be used to improve reading skills of the students on sixth grade of primary school. The aim of this activity is to improve the writing comprehension of our pupils. For that they are going to read the short story above and then they must complete the gap-fill exercise made with JCloze tool. They will have 10 minutes to answer 7 questions.

Listening and Speaking: Telephone Conversations

This activity is going to be used to improve listening and Speaking skills of the students on sixth grade of primary school.

The aim of this activity is to improve the auditory comprehension of our pupils and then practice what they learned in pairs. For that we are going to focus in a daily activity which is an easy dialogues as telephone conversation.

So, our pupils must listen carefully the audio/video below and then they must answer the questions below to assess their auditory comprehension.

It could be advisable to listen to the audio/video at least twice each.

Then, in pairs they must prepare and simulate a real telephone conversation between them, using the tips learned.
